L’ampli è in condizioni molto buone da un punto di vista estetico e funziona senza alcun problema, l’ho acquistato poco più di due anni fa e portato in laboratorio specializzato solo per controllo e messa a punto. Il KA-8004 è stato progettato dagli ingegneri che in seguito hanno formato Accuphase contemporaneamente alla linea Supreme, i migliori amplificatori Kenwood di sempre. La qualità costruttiva del KA-8004 si avvicina alla linea Supreme ed è decisamente migliore della successiva serie KA-x100. Il KA-8004 ha un suono tendente al “caldo” e dettagliato, ma non affaticante. Nonostante la potenza nominale di 55 watt/8 Ohm non ha problemi a pilotare con facilità i diffusori più impegnativi ed è in grado di sonorizzare ambienti medio/grandi. Inoltre, luscita per cuffie sul KA-8004 spazza via la maggior parte degli amplificatori per cuffie dedicati sotto i 300 euro.
