I suspect this just you to the fact that it hasn’t been used for while - As you can see from the video, it worked every time I tried it! Both tape decks work but I would have to say that the left-hand deck is not as clear sound as the right-hand deck, this could possibly be cured by cleaning the tape heads? Please see the video, I demonstrate this. The “input level” dial on the right-hand side of the tape deck has specs of something on the front, I’m not sure if this is discolouration or maybe it’s some form of corrosion?
