This is a JVC DR-MV5S DVD/VHS dubbing recorder. It records and plays both VHS and DVD formats. It also will copy from VHS to DVD, as well as DVD to VHS. It is in good working order. I recently used it to convert my remaining archival VHS tapes to DVD, and no longer need it, which is why it is now for sale. It has always been in a smoke-free environment.
