JVC Stereo Cassette Deck KD A11B. I connected this to a amp and it does play but the sound starts and stops and I’m not sure if that’s due to the amp or the connector as you pull the red and white out a little and the sound gets louder, i am selling for parts as not all functions have been tested on the unit and it’s not in the best of condition cosmetically
JVC KD-A11C Cassette Tape Deck - Japan Ok, this unit is working and sounds great , except fast forward does not respond. All other switches respond. Could just be a belt issue. Do not know , So selling as a fix me up A-is. Watch video of unit I am selling and see issue for yourself. The KD-A11 was a Stereo Cassette Deck manufactured by the JVC Corporation. The owner could expect a high-quality metal-ready Metaperm head for record/playback, two-gap ferrite erase head, and Dolby-B noise reduction system. The main features of the JVC KD-A11 are: 2 heads, analog 3 digit tape counter, manual tape type selection with support for normal, chrome, ferro-chrome and metal tapes, belt driven single-capstan transport. Typical front loading cassette deck with the cassette compartiment located on the right side of the deck. Tape eject is operated mechanically and the cassette needs to be placed with the side to be played facing forward in the cassette well. Level meters used on the KD-A11 are analog needle VU reading meters. Mechanical transport controls for reliable KD-A11 transport function selection. The Dolby-B system reduces tape hiss on tapes recorded on the KD-A11 by as much as 10 dB at the highest frequencies. To make live recordings this deck has 2 microphone inputs to connect microphones with a jack connector. For undisturbed listening a jack connector for a pair of stereo headphones is supplied. Connection to other audio components for plaback can be achieved by a RCA cable and recording from a source by a RCA cable. All Electronics have Hidden Security Codes.
