Unit powers on, lights and controls all work and the case is in pretty good shape. The radio and all of the inputs work, but there is a loud buzzing sound in the speakers that cant be ignored.

You are looking at a genuine JVC JR-S300 Stereo Receiver. Very rare in the UK now. Has been tested and is fully working. All inputs (except DIN) and all speaker outputs tested. Features: - FM/MW tunerAux + 2 Tape RCA inputsPhono inputtwin VU metersBuilt in graphic equaliser (each band tested and working as it should)50w per channelmain in/pre out jacks if you want to run a power amp Ive had many amps through my store in the past few years, and can honestly say this is one of the best Ive heard for sound quality. Absolutely pumps out with loads of punch and crisp treble from all 4 speaker outputs. More power than youre likely to ever need. VU meters both work, radio tunes in however no aerial is supplied so you will need to provide your own. Perspex display panel is in nice, unscratched condition. No crackling from equaliser sliders. Only issue is some cosmetic damage to the top of the outer casing at the rear, see photos. This could easily be sanded and resprayed or recovered if it bothered you, as the panel is wood. A rare and really great sounding 70s amplifier than for me, rivals most amps of this era, and embarrasses many perceived better amps today. Collection is highly preferred from Chester due to its size, weight and fragility, plus you can see and hear it in person before taking it away.
