JOLIDA JD9 JD 9 JD-9 Tube Phono Stage Preamplifier ! MM & MC NICE !! Used, Tested, & Working. Some flaws/marks on the top cover. Left top corner of faceplate has a ding (SEE PICTURES) The JD9 is slim, silver faced and sleek. Its look is minimalist with only one power button and one blue light to let you know its on. Its compact, measuring 17”x13”x2” and weighs 10 pounds but build quality is high. It uses two 12AX7 tubes, which are relatively inexpensive and reliable. There are dim adjustments around back covered by a little door that is easy to access, and two levels of output so you can easily configure it into your system. It can be adjusted for MM or MC cartridges, has gold plated RCA jacks, rated sensitivity at 0.25mV - 95dB and adjustable gain settings to match virtually any cartridge you might want to mount on your arm. It is extremely flexible and well built, particularly given its price of $559 USD. My only complaint about the physical design of the unit is the blue power light, which is too bright. In a dark room, during late night listening sessions, it was like a laser beam so I put a small piece of blue tack over it to keep it from distracting while listening. Problem solved. Technical Specifications The frequency response is listed in the spec sheet as 5Hz to 110KHz (+/- 1dB). The signal to noise ratio is > 100dB, and total harmonic distortion is < 0.02%. The input/output impedance of 100K/600 ohms. Jolida JD-9 hybrid tube phono stage. Silver front panel. In excellent cosmetic condition. Functions as intended. If you look at the pictures there are settings for gain and impedance matching. The settings are done by dip swtiches under the silver plate on the rear.There are also additional high and lo output levels. It is a very nice sounding phono stage which has garnered lots of good reviews. Has Genelex Gold Lion 12ax7s installed. Very low hours. I did not have the original shipping box, but it is well packed for shipping. Buyer pays UPS ground shipping. Payment is via Ebay online.

Jolida JD9 Mk2 ’Upgrade’ version with the Modwright mods - valve phonostage Well reviewed phonostages that are also loved by tweakers since the boards are easy to access for upgrades. This is Jolida’s own ‘Upgrade’ version that they tweaked in factory that included additional resistor arrays, ClarityCap ESA output caps and new issue Tungsol gold pin 12AX7’s. When imported this was then further upgraded to the Modwright edition which meant 3x Modwright oil capacitors being swapped in/out. Further still this has some opamp upgrades to 4 of the 6 pre-gain stages (the last 4). Now sporting the OPA627 which RS Components now sell for £60 each. Ghastly price increases. Original packaging and I can preset the dip switches to match your cartridge so it is plug and play. Still has the original tubes. These have immense gain so great for low output MC cartridges. A very dynamic and exciting listen. Fitted with a QSA Black fuse to lower the noise floor. Power Cable may need to be replaced as the prongs seem to be worn- doesnt always make good contact if plugged into older outlet. Works fine in new outlets/power strips.
