[Inflation-rated that is over 1000 Eur. in todays money] BUT(!), these were a top-range model, and its likely that Focal equivalents in terms of speaker performance would cost maybe 10 times that!NB: the marque JM Labs was dropped by Focal SA, some years ago Post-purchase re-finished in black polished lacquer. In the pictures, the lacquer finish is so mirror effect it shows finger-prints and the bubble-wrap underneath. But, if you look closely there are no blemishes. (plenty of pics available!) With the grilles on, they look fabulous. They have actually rarely been used (bought originally for a 2nd system in a 2ndary Res.). And b) they sound stunning. Amazing bass, and a liquid transparency which creates audio holographs. yes, they are that good. Jacques Mahul was a brilliant designer! 2 minor flaws: 1 binding-post plastic nut-fastener broken (years ago) Jumper-links supplied.
