LOADING BELT FOR SONY MDS-JE440 AND OTHER SONY MD PLAYERS FROM THE SAME ERA THAT HAVE A SIMILAR MECHANISM TO THAT SHOWN IN THE PICTURES.OVER TIME, THE ORIGINAL BELTS THAT WERE IN THESE PLAYERS STRETCH AND PERISH. IF YOUR PLAYER IS EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WITH LOADING, EJECTING AND PLAYING DISCS, THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE THAT REPLACING THIS BELT WILL RESOLVE THE PROBLEM.THIS BELT IS UNBRANDED BUT A GOOD QUALITY BRAND NEW BELT.PICTURES SHOW MECHANISM TYPE AND LOCATION OF BELT WITHIN MECHANISM. Sony MDS-JE440 Mini Disc PlayerSold as spares or repair due to the following:Inserted Mini Disc and it did not load fully so I gently guided it home.Played MD no problems and all other functions seemed to be working well.Sounding good!*When I tried to eject Mini Disc the display went off and there was just a whirring sound from inside the player.Disc would not eject.Opened top to take pic but did not try to remove disc or touch anything inside. Casing in good clean undamaged condition with just a few marks mainly to the top.No remote.Will also require new 13amp plug. Please see pics for full condition.
