This is a discrete amplifier and doesnt use the failure prone chip amplifier that cant handle the heat of an unvented subwoofer cabinet. Fully tested, controls cleaned and this amp is a perfect replacement for the failed amplifier in your JBL PSW 1000 or as a good DIY subwoofer plate amp. Plate measures 8X12 and is only 3.5 deep.
