These speakers were in a pair of JBL L36 Decades (oak cabs) that I recently purchased. They had been restored recently with new foam surrounds.They exhibited full tight bass and would still be in the cabinets except for the fact that I had a pair of 125As that looked slightly better, and I knew were newly restored by me, so I swapped in mine. Both of these had full function when disconnected two days ago. I cannot guarantee that they will work after a few days in the mail as with any other electronic item. I conduct ALL my selling and buying thru Ebay by their rules without exception. Communicate with me thru Ebay messages. I prefer PayPal. These have a generous application of adhesive applied to the surrounds, dust caps, and spider as you can see in the photos. None of this cosmetic appearance has any affect on function, and is unseen once installed and behind grille cloth. These are priced as parts speakers needing repair, so be sure before you buy because at this price, returns will not be accepted. The photos tell it best, so carefully look them over. ANY QUESTIONS or concerns must be worked thru prior to a commitment/contract to purchase, not after. They will be shipped literally bolted together and facing each other so that the cone structures are protected. Expect it to take some time to get through the packing… You send positive feedback when they arrive as described, and I will quickly return the favor.

I removed this pair of tweeters from a pair of L26 speakers I had. They both worked when I bought them. I removed the old foam rings on both to replace with the later style neoprene rings. Somewhere in this process I may have broken the small micro wire on the one tweeter that leads to the voice coil. With my old eyes I could not see the break, but the multimeter shows 0. The other tweeter sounds great and looks great with a nice cone and no dimpled dust cover. Resistance is 4 Ohm with a specified range of 3.7-4.2 Ohms for that model. Selling as a pair at a great price.Remember, ONE TWEETER NEEDS REPAIR. If youre nice to me and send me a message if you win, l will include another brand new neoprene foam ring for the tweeter that needs repair.
