JBL L100A Century vintage speakers. Spectacularly original JBL Vintage Speakers from the 1970s. With original boxes and with grills in as new condition. 12accordion-edge woofer, 5 midrange, 1.4 paper cone tweeter, 45lbs, 1.6 cu. ft. vented box, 23½ × 14¼ × 13??WHD, TheL100 is designed for rock & roll, efficiency, power handling, sine waves and sharp musical transients. Great for reproducing the solid fundamentals of Genesis Taurus bass pedals, old & new Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd and everything is deep and punchy. Your favourite classic rock acts were probably recorded with JBL monitors, maybe even these or their 4310 or 4311 brethren. While 1970s L100s are awesome rock speakers and were often used as monitors in the studios where our favourite classic rock was recorded, they never sounded great for serious classical music listening. Expensive speakers last a lifetime. These came with cloth grills and none of these use foam in the drivers so the 1970s L100 drivers should last forever so long as no one has damaged them. These pair (not consecutive Serial Numbers) are in good original order but would benefit from a nice refurb, all the parts are available these days, but the basics are all there, the drivers are in excellent order and only the tweeters show any sign of damage, and even then for 40 years old, its very minor. See the pictures. These would make a fantastic addition to any vintage sound system, as they dont need driving hard to produce outstanding results. COLLECTION OR LOCAL DELIVERY ONLY. Wegen Wechsel auf ein Heimkinosystem müssen die beiden leider gehen: Sie bieten auf ein Paar der 70er-Jahre Legende JBL 100 Century in Walnuß-Furnier. Der legendäre Studio-Monitor 4310 bildete die Basis für diese wirklich traumhaft klingende Box. Alle Lautsprecher arbeiten einwandfrei und sind ohne sichtbare Mängel. Leider kann man das von den Gehäusen nicht sagen, hier haben die Jahre Spuren hinterlassen. Die Boxen wurden mal im Studio als Abhöre genutzt, entsprechend sieht man stellenweise Flecken von den darauf abgestellten Gläsern. Das Furnier ist aber ohne Schäden und ohne Kratzer. Die Original-Frontgitter fehlen und wurden durch do-it-yourself-Teile ersetzt. Optisch nicht original, aber wohnzimmertauglich.
