These speakers are very well built, the cabinet is solid, heavy and well put together. The speaker covers are of very good quality and are in excellent condition.The set will sound very decent when driven directly, but if you add a subwoofer, youll be amazed. The mid and high ranges are great intrinsically, but adding a sub expands the bass tremendously. Cymbals shimmer and horns sound great, drums are very convincing. These speakers are very musical and easily convey dynamics. Imaging is very good. These are really gems, especially with their nice highs and imaging, It will be an impossible task to find a better, more satisfying set of speakers even near this price range. Used set of JBL j2050s. One speaker has the cabinet coming apart at the bottom please see attached pictures. It did not affect the sound to me. It can be fixed I am just thinning out some equipment that’s been sitting for a while that I don’t use anymore. The other speaker in good shape. They both work fine grills included.
