Firstly it is important to know exactly what part of your speaker has failed! If a tweeter or woofer is not working, first check your bi-wire links (If using them) Then substitute the non working drive to the same position on the working speaker, making sure the speaker is NOT connected to any amplifier first! (Also at this time check and ensure the crimps/solder connections are well made) If the fault moves with the drive unit, then that drive would likely be the problem (Check it with a meter or get someone to test it for you if unsure!) If the fault stays with the same speaker/position, double check everything again And then remove the crossover to check the exact model number and revision (MAKE A NOTE (Or take a picture) of the connections before removing!) jamo PA 5001 speakers with equaliser box ?. And neutrik speaker plugs with speaker cable attached Stands included as can be seen in the pictures. These passive PA speakers require the use of an amplifier. Even a reasonable hi-fi amplifier will be good enough to make this speaker system work. Oh and just to let you know on one of the speakers, the input sockets on the back is missing the second input which is not needed for a straightforward stereo set up anyway so in no way, does it affect the operation of the speaker
