(Single) JAMO 20300 Tweeter 8-Ohms (Nominal) - Should fit several models (Check!) *** UK Mainland destinations, the FREE postage is an economy service to cut costs and keep prices low *** If you need the item in a hurry (And wish to pay the increased cost incurred) please message to arrange. International post is now through ebays GSP ONLY to simplify customs etc following the UK/EU departure. DO I ACTUALLY NEED A NEW TWEETER ? Firstly it is important to know exactly what part of your speaker has failed! If a tweeter or woofer is not working, first check your bi-wire links (If using them) Then substitute the non working drive to the same position on the working speaker, making sure the speaker is NOT connected to any amplifier first! (Also at this time check and ensure the crimps/solder connections are well made) If the fault moves with the drive unit, then that drive would likely be the problem (Check it with a meter or get someone to test it for you if unsure!) If the fault stays with the same speaker/position, double check everything again And then remove the crossover to check the exact model number and revision (MAKE A NOTE (Or take a picture) of the connections before removing!) If unsure PLEASE PLEASE ask FIRST and I will do my best to help in any way I can Drive units are VERY delicate and mishandling WILL damage them! While I can provide detailed instructions on how to change them over I cannot accept any responsibility for incorrect fittment or damage. (And a rough check of size/shape!) Would also make a great unit for custom builds or replacements D.C.R Measured at just over 6 Ohms so would be an 8 Ohm NOMINAL unit (Going on DCR to known Nominal values of the 1000s I have measured to date!) Overall (Approx +/- 1mm) size:- 126mm X 88mm, Magnet diameter 70mm so cutout MINIMUM 70mm BUT see last picture as provision for terminals is needed! Fixings on square 63mm X 63mm, original fixings included, NOTE these are star (Torx) drive but a suitable size allen key or flat blade screwdriver will work if careful. Offered for your consideration is a vintage Jamo three-driver, two-way crossover network removed from my Center 200 center channel speaker, manufactured in Denmark in 1995. The Center 200 used this crossover to divide two parallel-wired 5” mid/bass woofers (8? net load) from a 1” dome tweeter (4?) at 2kHz and features an innovative high frequency attenuation switch on the faceplate.So, please see the large photos I’ve taken to decide if this capable Jamo center channel crossover should be yours.*Although the listing is written in singular to avoid any confusion, three (3) identical Jamo Center 200 crossover networks are available at time of this writing. Please choose if you’d like to buy one or more in the quantity field at the top of the listing. The shipping cost will be automatically calculated by eBay checkout. This Jamo crossover is in clean, excellent condition. The rigid black plastic faceplate is in great shape with no chips or cracks and the enameled lettering is in great shape. It features, heavily-wound copper inductors, resistors, and three capacitors. Plus, it has proper +/- binding posts, conveniently-angled for fiddle-free connections, instead of the flimsy spring tabs many other brands use. And, I’ve neatly bound the woofer and tweeter wires for the buyer’s convenience. Overall, this Jamo crossover network is exceptionally well preserved. What’s more, this crossover was tested as working before the speaker was disassembled due to cabinet wear. If considering for a center speaker project, the faceplate measures 3 7/16” square and would require a 3¼” cutout to clear its circular rear and the component board.Lastly, as used in the Center 200, the board is connected directly to the back of the +/- terminals at a somewhat awkward angle. This can be easily rectified by connecting it to the terminal cup with +/- wires of your chosen length. As pictured and described, this terrific Jamo Center 200 crossover network is offered at a competitive price. Offered for your consideration is a vintage Jamo #21138 25mm (1 inch) dome tweeter removed from a Jamo Center 200 center channel speaker, manufactured in 1995. This high frequency driver was quality-made in Denmark years before Jamo was acquired by Klipsch. It may have been used in other Jamo speakers from this period, but the buyer is responsible for accurately verifying any other suitable applications.So, please have a look at my large photos and read the remaining description to decide if this capable Jamo high frequency driver should be yours.*Although the listing is written largely in singular to avoid any confusion, two (2) Jamo #21138 dome tweeters are available at time of this listing revision. Each of the tweeters has a different form of externally-mounted, secondary bucking magnet, and the one pictured individually will be the last one sold (refer to the last photo for further clarification). Please choose if you’d like to buy one or both in the quantity field at the top of the listing. The shipping cost will be automatically calculated by eBay checkout. This Jamo tweeter is in clean, very good condition. The soft dome is perfect with no dent or dimples, having been well-protected resting slightly below the faceplate plane. Plus, the plastic faceplate is in nice shape with no chips or cracks, just some faint scuffs. Also, the +/- terminals have never been soldered on the spades and are color-coded for polarity (red spade=positive). Overall, this tweeter is quite well preserved. Most importantly, it’s been fully tested and sounds very strong, clear, and detailed with plenty of the beyond-audibility sparkle. Plus, this tweeter is capable of withstanding a continuous 80 watts as crossed-over from the mid/bass woofers in the Center 200. And, I tested its DC resistance at 3.9-4.0?, consistent with a nominal 4 ohm driver rating. Lastly, the faceplate measures 4?” diameter, and the mounting holes are spaced 2¾” adjacent / 3?” diagonal apart, c-t-c. This is a nice find if your Center 200 or other suitable Jamo has a blown tweeter and will have your speaker sounding its best again in no time. Long discontinued, it’s a great spare to have around just in case.
