Heres a more than useful item in the workshop....not that useful that we need half a dozen of em though.....This is a mains isolation transformer, made by Douglas of Louth, Lincs. It is intended for UK mains operation, therefore it has a tapped primary (0-220-240v) and a similarly tapped secondary (0-220-240v) allowing for several options for connection. It is rated at 50VA or 208mA on the secondary. There is an interwinding screen which should be earthed. This is a rather high quality, well made item as can be seen in the pics. Weve used several recently as HT transformers (alongside a hefty 12.6v transformer for heaters) in a few six way valve audio crossovers for a customer with a huge sound system.It measures 105mm x 70mm x 54mm and weighs 1.7kg. It is a new item. It will be well padded for transit.
