genuine projector lamp Infocus for x3 x2 models; used only for 52 hours, like new

InFocus X2 DLP Projector This is a used projector. I have tested it only by turning it on and then accessing the control buttons on the top. Since I dont have the right adaptors to connect it to my computer there was nothing else I could check. It did work fine the last time it was used so I am assuming it is still OK. You can find the manual online for detailed instructions. I have included a picture of the system info screen. It shows 657 hours of lamp usage, software version 1.1.1, Boot version 1.3, and OEM version 1.1. KNOWN ISSUE / PROBLEM: You will also see from the system screen a dark shadow bar running down the left side of the projection. The bad news is that it did not go away even after I cleaned the lens and I couldnt find an adjustment to fix it. It is on all the projections as I went through the menu buttons. The GOOD news is that I searched and found info about this problem on fixya-dot-com. Here is what they said: Q: Have Infocus X2 projector. When on a dark shadow line appears down the left side of screen. Could it be a bad lamp? A: No it is not lamp problem. it must be light tunnel problem.After lamp there is tunnel for light travel, made from 4 pieces of mirror.This tunnel is glued. glue tend to break in time so the tunnel is no longer doing its purpose.Open this part of projector, there should be 2 little screws holding it. repair it by reposition mirrors and glue them from outside by little drop of temperature resistant and elastic glue. thats it ! I cant promise that is the problem, but there were several others mentioning the same issue and the same solution given. So, if youre willing to do a little repair job, youll likely be able to get this projector at a much lower price. Good Luck!
