Mit einer Schalldruck App mit verschiedenen Testton-Signalen kann man nun den störenden Wummerbereich aufschreiben. Während der Einmessprozedur ist es wichtig, dass man - verständlicherweise - im Sinne eines korrekten Messergebnisses das Schalldruckmessgerät nicht in seiner Position verändert, sondern am angestammten Platz liegen lässt. Nachdem die Sitzposition eingenommen ist, kann die App gestartet und mit der Messprozedur begonnen werden. Während der Testläufe werden die Messergebnisse mit dem Bleistift in ein dafür vorgesehenes Diagramm eingetragen. Ihr Messdiagramm wird eine Resonanzspitze (wie unten im Diagramm, das eine häufig auftretende Messkurve zeigt) oder mehrere Resonanzspitzen aufweisen. Im Falle mehrerer Resonanzspitzen muss man sich für die am meisten dominante zwecks Eliminierung entscheiden.Wichtig: Natürlich kann man auch nach Gehör vorgehen und die Bassoptimierung ohne Messungen einstellen.Das Room Adaptive Bass Optimization System nutzt einen bestimmten Frequenzbereich zu einer parametrischen Frequenzgangkorrektur mit der Zielsetzung, den Frequenzverlauf zu verbessern. In der Praxis sieht das so aus, dass die Resonanzspitze durch die Pegellimitierung so weit gesenkt wird, bis kein akustischer Schaden mehr entstehen kann. Wie sich aus der obigen Übersicht entnehmen lässt, verfügt jeder Regler über 21 verschiedene Einstellmöglichkeiten. This amazing servo subwoofer from Infinity is used but in good working condition and sounds really great. This is a 10 inch servo sub so the bass is very tight and of high quality. It mates will with the Infinity INFINITESIMAL speakers and many other mini monitors. I was quite impressed with the quality of the bass. The previous owner appears to have replaced the surround and it sounds really great! Cosmetically the grill is looking worn and dirty and the subwoofer has some marks as expected with age. It looks like the previous owner marked the woofer and cabinet to properly align the woofer when replacing foam surround. The power cord currently works but the outer sleeve has a crack in it as shown in photos so I am including it for repair or replacement (so you can read the specifications off the sleeve). I would use an alternate power cord or have it checked by a certified electrician before use.
