This capable high frequency driver was removed from an Infinity Sterling Series Video speaker and was also used in the Sterling SS2001, Sterling SS2002, SL10, Video 1, and possibly other Infinity speakers from the 1990’s. So, please take a look at my large photos and read the remaining description to decide if this capable Infinity tweeter is correct for your needs. This Infinity tweeter is in clean, excellent condition. It has a structurally perfect radiating surface, well-protected behind the acoustically-transparent grate, and nice plastic faceplate with no cracks or scratches noted. Also, the +/- terminals are marked for polarity and have never been soldered on the spades. It is practically indistinguishable from new. More importantly, it’s been fully tested and sounds terrific with excellent clarity and detail. It carries to a full 20kHz, so there’s plenty of “sparkle,” and is rated up to 150W as crossed over at 4.5KHz in the Sterling Video. Plus, DC resistance tested at 6.7?, right in line with a nominal 8 ohm rating. And, the faceplate measures 2 13/16” diameter, it stands about ¾”, and the three mount holes are spaced 2?” apart, c-t-c. Offered for your consideration is one (1) Infinity #902-5226 ½” polycarbonate tweeter, manufactured c.1995. This capable high frequency driver was removed from an Infinity Sterling Series Video speaker and was also used in the Sterling SS2001, Sterling SS2002, SL10, Video 1, and possibly other Infinity speakers from the 1990’s. So, please take a look at my large photos and read the remaining description to decide if this capable Infinity tweeter is correct for your needs. This Infinity tweeter is in clean, excellent condition. It has a structurally perfect radiating surface, well-protected behind the acoustically-transparent grate, and nice plastic faceplate with no cracks or scratches noted. Also, the +/- terminals are marked for polarity and have never been soldered on the spades. It is practically indistinguishable from new. More importantly, it’s been fully tested and sounds terrific with excellent clarity and detail. It carries to a full 20kHz, so there’s plenty of “sparkle,” and is rated up to 150W as crossed over at 4.5KHz in the Sterling Video. Plus, DC resistance tested at 6.7?, right in line with a nominal 8 ohm rating. And, the faceplate measures 2 13/16” diameter, it stands about ¾”, and the three mount holes are spaced 2?” apart, c-t-c. As pictured and described, this superb Infinity ½” polycarbonate tweeter is offered at a competitive price.
