This tweeter was also used in the RS2001, RS3001, and likely some other Infinity models from this period. This Infinity Polyspherite tweeter is in clean, excellent condition. It has a perfect dome and the faceplate has no scratches or cracks. Plus, the magnet structure is free of chips or oxidation. And, the +/- input terminals are marked for polarity (red = positive) and have never been soldered on the spades. Overall, this tweeter looks practically new! Most importantly, it sounds terrific—strong, clear, and very sparkly with its impressive 22kHz upper limit. Plus, as rated to 125W in the RS4001, it’s a sturdy design as well. And, I tested its DC resistance at 5.6-5.7?, consistent with a 6 ohm nominal driver rating. Lastly, the faceplate measures 3 11/16” diameter, it stands 1” tall, and the three mounting holes are 2?” apart, c-t-c. This is a nice find for someone that has a blown or damaged tweeter in their RS4001 or other suitable model. And, long out of production, it would make a smart spare to have on hand for possible future needs. You get this Rare INFINITY SL Micro Satellite Surround System in original box. The satellite speaker is 1/2 Polycarbonate Tweeter 3 1/2 Woofer and the 2 subwoofers are 6 1/2 woofers. These have all been tested and works great. Very loud. They are all in good condition. Some slight what looks like white paint droplets on the side. See pictures . Other than that, really nice. They have an 8 polypropylene bass radiator, a 6.5 polypropylene woofer, and a .75 ferrofluid tweeter. I am not a blond oak fan but I must say these are some handsome speakers with superb cabinets. They are good condition with the exception of one small nick on the backside corner on one of the speakers. Also Infinity grill cloths are very soft and sheer and these are the original cloths. Rare Infinity RS4b Floorstanding Speakers. What a fantastic pair of speakers these are. The cabinets are beautiful. The sound is amazing,deep bass, lovely midrange.the treble is oh so sweet. I really do enjoy listening to these speakers. The infinities are in very good shape for their age. There is a little damage one of the poly dome midrange units.On the other speaker one bass driver is pushed in but has no impact on sound at all. They sound wonderful. Infinity Primus P143 Pair Of Bookshelf Speakers. W/ Wall Brackets. Tested. Great shape. The Brackets were taken off the wall and work great. The 4 hole side of the bracket is the side that mounts to the wall, the other side mounts to the speaker. Had them on the wall for years with no problem.
