Probably the BEST small book shelf speakers Ive ever owned. These have been in use since at least 1999 or 2000. They still sound great, and look pretty darn good too. Pretty sure the original cost was around 250 total, they were not cheapy by any means, when we bought them 24+ yrs ago. Have essentially out grown them, basically I am consolidating the audio gear in advance of a future move. So, time for these to find a new home. Recently retrofitted some of my old Marantz HD cabinets with JBL speakers, so, just have no need for any extra gear right now. These Infinity cabinets will serve you well for another twenty years at the least. They can handle a lot more power than they let on, and they sound great with the right gear to push them properly. Recommend you bother with these only if you have at least a true 25-50+watt rms system. The fact that they are only 2-way, means little, they are bass ported to the rear, and have VERY good internals. Cabinets are THICK and HEAVY, they weigh almost 10lbs each. With a proper equalizer, or a digital signal source like your pc, ipod, tv, or phone, you will totally forget these are only 2-way speaker cabinets. =-) Due to size and weight of boxing these together, the shipping cost is fixed for CON.U.S. addresses. So, if you want something that sounds BIG, but comes in a SMALL cabinet, here you go! Overall size of cabinets +/- 10.5 x 8 x 6.5. Driver was refoamed some time ago but foam is still good. You can push it with your finger without it tearing. It appears that they did shim the coil when they refoamed. I tested it in the speaker and it performed fine.
