Classic vintage Infinity Qe, in super-mint condition (mid-late 70s). These are heavy built, not very small bookshelves (or small floor standers, since they are 12x18 inches)and have seen little use in their life. They are harder and harder to find in good or even half-decent condition. I got them quite a few years ago and used very little, because I listen in general to my other bigger speaker sets. All drivers are original, no dents, while cabinets, grills and badges in excellent condition, as well. The very few white dots or shades in some of the pictures are from my camera. They have the famous EMIT tweeters, providing crystal clear, crisp highs and the 8 woofers (considered big for a bookshelf), producing strong, tight and deep bass. They image very well and have a wide sound-stage (especially for their size). I think they were about $250-275 in the 70s. Easy to drive with a large variety of amps or receivers, since they are 8ohm and sensitivity is pretty high at 89dB. As opposed to many speakers of this vintage, parts (tweeters, bass drivers, etc) are not exotic and readily available still, since they have a big following crowd. Offered for your consideration is one (1) Infinity grille emblem removed from a Quantum-series Qe speaker, USA-manufactured in 1978. Please take a look at my large photos, the measurements, and read the remaining description to decide if this Infinity emblem is correct for your speaker. This Infinity emblem is in clean, nearly excellent condition. It is made from aluminum alloy with a black-enameled background and measures 1¾” square. There is one faint longitudinal scratch and bottom-edge scuff, as pictured, but is otherwise flat and perfect. And, the back side has some factory adhesive residue remaining which will make a good base for the contact cement or other type of glue that you will use for mounting it to your Qe grille. It’s in pretty nice shape overall. This is a great find if an emblem on one of your Qe speakers is missing or ruined and will have your cherished speakers looking as great as they sound once again!
