It’s was recently tested and all seems well. Light cosmetic marks on the top of the unit likely from the unit that sat on top of the cd player. Sold as is and all sales are 100% final.

This is a very high end CD -player from the 90s made by California Audio Labs. The unit has been fully tested except for remote functions. THE REMOTE IS NOT INCLUDED. This unit is rarely seen, especially the Ist gen. Once the CAL units gained popularity they made a MKII unit, which is more commonly found. The exterior looks great. The only issue is with some of the buttons. The buttons sit within a gel like harness that allows them to move and spring back. This harness is damaged, but the buttons still work, they are just not as easy as they once were to push.
