Description
iBasso dx160 HiRes Audio Player, Blue. I’m having a clear-out of stuff, selling on eBay. I bought the iBasso DX160 from advancedmp3players in November, 2020, the latest model of the iBasso DX160 - I think this is the 2020 version (JDI screen; improved buffer, specs below). So I’ve used it for roughly 2 years 9 months and have decided (having sold a lot of stuff on eBay this week) to upgrade to an Astell&Kern SR25 MkII. So the iBasso needs to go. It’s in almost immaculate condition. It’s not pristine retail, but I think that the photographs show it’s pretty close. It’s one of my favourite sound signatures. It’s very musical, yes, but it’s also exciting; with my Shure SE846 iems, its like a party in my head. It is well-known that the dx160s UI can be a bit laggy. Very infrequently, it hangs for 30 seconds or so and then the screen graphics come and it’s all resolved. Partly I think it’s because of only 2Gb RAM; partly their UI updates have improved things over the years. I’ve included one (picture) review from Headfonics. Just one example, but the general consensus is that it punches above its (then) £300 price point. Please note that I’ve never used it with Bluetooth or with any streaming services, so I cant comment on that ... don’t know what these would be like. I’m includingIBasso DX160, BlueUSB-C charging/transfer cable plus USB-B to USB-C adapter (I never used this, only my MAC cable)Clear TPU protection case2 x screen protectors (unused)Quick-start guide. I’m also including extrasOne-off, custom-made for me, Etsy-sourced Blue leather case. This is saddlery/bridle leather and it has aged very well. I prefer this to the TPU case, personally. The case won’t fit my A&K SR25 MkII. :( 64gb SDXC card SPECIFICATIONS - IBASSO DX160Housing material: alloy-aluminiumOS: Android 8.1DAC: Dual CS43198Output Ports: 4.4BAL, 3.5PO, 3.5LO, SPDIF, USB outputScreen: 5.0 inch 1080*1920 Sharp OnCell Full ScreenCPU: Octa-CoreMemory: 2G RAM, 32G ROM, Micro USD cardWi-Fi: 80 2.11 b/g/n/ac (2.4Ghz/5Ghz)Bluetooth: Bluetooth 5.0Battery: 3200mAh Lithium-ion polymer batteryUSB connector: Type-C (charging and data transfer)Quick Charge: QC3.0, PD2.0Audio Formats Supported: MQA, APE, FLAC, WAV, WMA, AAC, ALAC, AIFF, OGG, MP3, DFF, DSF, DXD, CUE, ISO, M3U, M3U8, MQASize: 113mm*69mm*15mmWeight: 178gAverage Play Time: 13 hours (The playtime varies with different resolutions and headphone/IEM loads.)
