Up for grabs an Ibasso DX220 with Amp 9 (tube amp ) and Amp1 MKll. In great condition a few marks on the top plate see pics, I have marked it in red The screen has always had protector on, I removed the back protector to check condition and its perfect, there are also some spare protectors in the box. The yellow mustard case has seen some action. I have cut a slot at the back, as its nice to see the tube amps light up when in use, they are Roland technology tube amps and well regarded. if you gently flick the headphone connector they actually ring the same as any tube amp does. I have Mango player loaded which is the Ibasso audio player and will play pretty much any lofi and hifi format, please check the web so your happy with the formats it can handle. It also has usb Audio app loaded, this allows you to use the device in Android mode, giving all the benefits of using other apps. In Mango mode the player is purely an audio player for people who only want it as a player, with all the usual functions like EQ etc. A blank 64 gig sd card is included for you to load all your music on, it of course will take bigger cards, and you may just want transfer your current card straight into the device. Now down to the amps, I have Amp 9 Installed as I love the warmth and character of that Amp, its not the loudest Amp, but there is a boost setting giving it a bit more kick. it also has Amp1 MKll which is also a great sound. Box included. Amp 9 if you can find one sells for around 120 on its own I have tested the battery with Amp9 which does draw more power due to the tubes. my test consisted of a Pink Floyd album played on loop and it lasted from 4.26 pm to 10.15pm ( nearly 6 hours with Amp 9 ) obviously there was no screen on time apart from when I checked it every hour. Amp 1 mkll will last longer, not the most accurate of tests and the headphones I used were a small set of on ear with a 20mm driver, and the volume set to 110, 150 is the max. Bluetooth headphones work great and last a long time, but your not getting the amp character sound with bluetooth. I have sold all my fancy earphones now and its a shame to use this for just wireless use.
