HifiMan HE400SE Planar Magnetic Headphones, Stealth Magnets Modded grills & pads. Mint & boxed Bought from Amazon Jan 2023. Working perfectly. Custom Cans Super Grills fitted. Original grills kept and included. I didnt tape the delicate internal wires in the end as some people have had solder joint breaks. I just moved them gently to one side. Also the removed thin nylon membranes from behind the grills (common first mod) are included should you wish to replace them, though the sound is clearer without them. Just store the headphones away from excessive dust and hairs! Perforated (fenestrated) sheepskin leather pads fitted from Accessory House Global. Fitted onto brand new rings so the original pads are intact, unmolested and included. They have actually never been used as I swapped to the sheepskin pads as soon as I got the headphones. The original cable has also never been used, but obviously is included. I used a woven aftermarket cable - which is NOT included as it would push the price up and you might not want that particular connection. (Linsoul Tripowin GranVia 2m dual 3.5mm to 4.4mm balanced plug in black, could be included for an extra £30) Crystal clear sound, vocals are intimate - forward of the mix and clear - better than the T1 Gen 3s, though the soundstage is smaller than the Beyers. I can hear 10hertz sub on a tone test same as the Beyers (the Custom Cans Super Grills were developed to increase sub-bass). Not quite as well made as my £800 Beyers but I prefer the sound at times with some music, way too often! Will be sent Royal Mail - 1st Class Signed For. Thank you for looking.
