Each of the power outputs on the HiCap use Naim Audio’s specially designed discrete regulators for optimum performance. The HiCap is a dedicated dual 24V power supply designed for use with the CD5 XS CD player, NAC 282, NAC 202 and NAC 152 XS preamplifiers, and our SNAXO crossovers. Although some Naim power amplifiers provide adequate power supply to the partnering preamplifier, the use of a separate ultra-low-noise HiCap brings substantially increased musicality to the whole of the system. It can also be used to power our StageLine and SuperLine phono stages and the HeadLine headphone amplifier. In the case of the NAC 282 preamplifier a second HiCap may be used, bringing further improvements.
