From a quick glance, you might be mistake this pair of speakers for the legendary Rogers LS3/5A. And we dont blame you although this Mini Master B100 is slightly shorter (about 2 shorter) and slightly narrower. It uses a similarly sized 4.5 mid/woofer and a 1 dome tweeter but things get slightly different from here on. The impedance on the speakers are a nominal 4 ohm with a sensitivity of 91 dB. Frequency range is stated to be from 44 Hz to 22 kHz but we would take that LF number with a pinch of salt. Speakers are connected via a 2-pin DIN (speaker wires are included with the 2-pin DIN plug and bare wire ends) plug. Like the LS3/5A, the B100 is a beautiful sounding speaker when it comes to vocals and piano music. Soundstage is not particularly large but in a small room setting, it will project a very intimate, soulful soundstage. Forget rock, electronic, heavy metal music, this is not what the B100 was designed for. Speakers look really good for its vintage. Front bottom left corner of one of the speaker has a slight ding but otherwise, rest of the speakers look good with the usual scuff marks/nicks common with vintage speakers.
