Why spend $13 dollars a month for dvr services when this deci e gives you dvr for free. If you have many television sets, you can set up a tivo mini, and it will run off the same machine. You can tape in one room and watch shows in another. This bolt is a DVR that has no fees for the life of the machine. I finally cut the cable cord because it is not a necessity. Its gotten to that point where everything I have that is not needed has to go. I will miss fast forwarding through the commercials and being able to watch shows whenever I want, though. I have enjoyed this for many years, and I hope that the next buyer does as well. I am including the set-up booklet, power cord, hdmi cable, and a piece of coaxial cable. All you have to do is oder a cable card from your cable company, and the instructions will pop up on the television, explaining each step, which is very easy. This unit allows you to tape 4 shows at the same time. I have taken quite a few photos showing the unit is working perfectly. I mistakenly unhooked it from my main television without taking as many pictures as I should have so I switched it out with my old tivo series two so I wouldnt have to move everything to get behind it and set it up again. One thing that I do highly recommend is that you dont put another electronic device below it or on top of it. My DVD player overheated and melted a rubber device that I placed on top of it. Also, some of the buttons on the remote are hard to read due to wear. I decided not to buy another remote for $20 dollars because I pretty much knew where every button was and what they did. You might want to purchase a replacement or see if you can download a universal remote online that might work.
