Harman Kardon 930 Twin Power (45Wx2) Vintage Stereo Receiver - Detailed Restore Unit has new capacitors: 4 main outputs, on -ALL- boards -AND- on underside of unit. Unit has NEW TRANSISTORS: 4 main outputs, on -ALL- boards -AND- on underside of unit. Components are high quality (Nichicon, Rubycon, Onsemi, Fairchild, etc.) More comprehensive restore than I have seen...not just select capacitors and cleaning/testing. Started with a pre-packaged restoration kit, which was very incomplete. It took many more hours (and dollars) to identify, procure & install correct additional capacitors/transistors. Gave this unit a lot of TLC, because intent was to keep. Just have too much equipment at this point. Adjusted amp bias back to factory specs. New LEDs installed. Tested strong FM and AUX-1 w/CD player. Didnt use/test the other inputs. Some scuffs/scratches around edges of faceplate and on top of case. Some flaking of coating and oxidation, on sheet metal shrouds covering the FM/pre-amp boards (see photos). Signal meter on far left doesnt move much. Havent looked into issue, but did buy only used spare I could find & will ship w/unit. I would consider this in good, but no where near mint condition. Will ship within Continental United States only (excludes Hawaii & Alaska). Used and sold as-is.
