Let me give you some background.This was purchased at an estate sale along with tons of other equipment, tonsss. The person who passed clearly must have fixed these as a hobby or a living. I bought near an entire wall of similar equipment which will be listed in coming days. He had a repair room that was 10x15 long. I dont know if the was formerly repaired or not. So far - the equipment I have tested 8/9 have worked good. One didnt power on at all. Im at the point where, its just to much to continue testing. So Im selling As Is. Das Gerät ist optisch in gutem Zustand. Das Gehäuse hat ein paar Kratzer, vor allem auf der Oberseite (siehe Bild 4); die Frontplatte ist in gutem Zustand. Bei einem der beiden Sicherungshalter ist am Rand ein wenig abgebrochen, er lässt sich aber einwandfrei verriegeln (siehe Bilder 6 & 7). Ein Standfuss fehlt, und einer ist locker. Offenbar ist er von innen mit Gegenmutter verschraubt; ich bekam aber das Gehäuse nicht auf, um ihn festzuziehen. Eine Sicherung fehlt. Es handelt sich um die 220V-Version. Fehlerbeschreibung:Der rechte Kanal funktioniert einwandfrei; der linke ist völlig tot (auch kein Rauschen oder Brummen) Versand möglich ab Deutschland oder Schweiz. The Hafler DH-200 is a powerful stereo amplifier that will be at home with any budget savvy audiophile. In 2011 it was rated in The Absolute Sound as one of The Ten Most Significant Amplifiers of All Time. Paired with a quality preamp, it has the guts to drive the most demanding speaker systems (like a college roommates Dahlquist DQ-10s). As for this particular Hafler, it is running strong and still delivering the goods. I am the 2nd owner, having acquired it from Good Vibes stereo, Champaign Illinois in 1986, and it was like new when I bought it. Hafler amps could be either bought assembled or as a kit. This one looks to be factory assembled, based on the high quality of workmanship and solder applications. I did have one bad cap replaced last month, but the rest is all original. The amp is playing well. It will still drive speakers to concert levels, and according to the audio tech that replaced the cap it is good to go. I however think a couple things will need attention in the very near future. The RCA inputs are well used, and depending on the plugs you have they can make for a loose connection. There is also a faint but noticeable hum when you turn the amp on. It did not increase with volume, and with any music playing is inaudible, but this amp used to be dead silent. Replacing the RCA plugs could fix that, maybe its another cap, or maybe something needs grounded better. Keep in mind that this amp is 40+ years old, so you should be expecting to replace all the caps sooner rather than later. Im sure as good as it sounds now, a recap would make it sound better. Haflers are super easy to work on and even a novice solder tech can do most of the work. With this being vintage equipment, I will guarantee it to not be DOA, but make no other claims to its longevity. Please bid with that in mind. Feel free to ask any questions.

Up for sale is a very nice, properly working Hafler DH-200 MOSFET solid state power amp. It easily puts out 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms on our Sound Technology test panel. It has very low DC offset which is a good thing. Runs a little warm as it should but not drawing excessive current from the wall. Most importantly it sounds great on music! We played music on it for many hours without any signs of trouble and tested it cold the following morning and all was still good! We got this from the original owner who purchased it in the early 80s. He thought he recalled building it as a kit but... it has a serial number and may be factory made. In any case whoever assembled it did a very good job! All soldering still looked good and there was no need to touch things up. We were a Hafler dealer and sold these new in the 80s and still think very highly of them! Sticker on front mentions Musical Concepts Mod but other than a few Mylar caps it looks pretty original. Were giving it a 8.5-9 of 10 for cosmetic condition, just a few minor blemishes here and there. It will be very well packed with an outer box added for extra protection.
