Refurbished & Serviced holds speed beautifully and will give many years of listening pleasure. Suspended wooden Sub chassis with a 10mm bronze bearing, sub platter and platter made of Tufnol. On/off is via the discrete button on the front. Runs either 33.3rpm or 45rpm, speed is changed by lifting the (new) belt between the different sized pulleys. Original (removable) lid is in great condition with no cracks, chips or splits and looks fantastic. Hinge resistance is adjusted via the screw heads either side of the hinge which can be set to self support the lid if you wanted it up during operation. Overall this is an absolute stunner and wouldn’t look out of place in most living rooms. Certainly scores high on the “Partner Approval Factor” ratings :) I would keep it but I’m having to have a bit of a clear out as I’m setting up a new hi-fi dealership!
