Here is a garage sale item. Uniden GRANT-XL in fair cosmetic condition. This radio shows normal wear overall. All controls work as they should, including the meter, light, and channel display is full. The output on AM is 4 watts with good audio and 12 watts p.e.p. on side band. I did not find any mods on this radio and it is a stock 40 channels. Receive is good. This radio comes with a used WILSON-TRUCKER 5 pin mic, a new power cord, and a used standard mounting bracket, and thumb screws are on this radio. This is the first edition Grant-XL and was made in 1992 PHILIPPINES. Sold as is in good working condition with NO returns. I only ship to the 50 states. Nicest looking and functional one on ebay today. Could have parted it out rather then fixing it. Technically its in much better condition then when I bought it. I hate to part with this one definitely a keeper. However I have way to many radios and not enough space. For its age it looks and works well. Radio was peeked, tuned and aligned. One of the original switches was broken inside the switch. It was replaced with two cobra switches I had available. ( I was fresh out of Uniden switches.) Which channels were added too. Am was 15w peek Ssb 40+ Modulation was (SUPER LOUD) even with stock microphone I was getting 100% Radio is being sold AS IS WITH NO Returns but, in working condition. (Not DOA). I am including the old switches in case you want to try to replace them in the future. Radio comes with the stock microphone a power cord the old switches.
