Graham Slee Revelation C (for MC cartridges). This is an archival phono preamplifier for low output MC cartridge.As well as being a stereo RIAA preamp there are settings for other types of record, so rather than guessing the tonal balance, the Revelations have all the EQ settings you should need arranged on a three switch front-panel matrix. This item is in barely used condition - under 150 hours of use. I have upgraded to the Accession MC pre-amp, hence downsizing. Comes with the PSUI power transformer. You have to listen to this preamp to experience the quality it extracts from MC cartridges - very detailed, neutral and non-tiring to the ears. NOTE: The item comes with UK power cord. Hence I am also supplying a step up/down power transformer. You can also switch the UK power cable with a US cable on your own. Graham Slee Revelation This is an early example of this versatile Moving magnet phono preamp, before Graham developed the ‘M’ & ‘C’ (moving coil preamp). This wonderful little phono amp has only been supplanted in my system by a Graham Slee Accession and I’m sure the next owner will get as much pleasure out of it as I have! You really listen through it not to it and the better the source is the better it gets. Because of this performance and Graham’s reputation I haven’t dared try to tweak it in any way - just the occasional dusting and I’ve cleaned the phono sockets a few times. Although the box is a little beaten up and has signs or a little moisture damage all of that happened while the unit was in use so the unit itself I would say is in excellent used condition, despite its age. I have included close ups to you can see the condition of the unit. The PSU1 that came with the amp is included in the auction and a standard ‘figure 8’ mains lead. This unit is also of the same vintage as the preamp so it is the captive DC lead type, as can be seen in the picture. Both the preamp and the PSU will be sent in their original boxes inside a single box so they’ll both be very well protected for safe transport.
