Grado SR325x Headphones with upgraded large pads that increase the size of the soundstage significantly over stock and also improve the bass quality a noticeable amount. They are in absolutely excellent condition!! They come with a few upgrades/mods to make them significantly sturdier and much more comfortable. They have been replaced with a stainless steel/aluminum gimbal system ($125) that is much stronger than the stock headphone adjustments which feature plastic and WOULD eventually break thru even the most delicate of normal use. They also have an upgraded 100% genuine leather super padded and plush headband ($75). It looks much better and is far more comfortable and supportive. I’ll include the stock thin leather headband in case you desire to change it back for whatever reason. The cans probably have about 20 hours of use on them. I will also include a generic hardshell carry case along with the original packaging and documentation. It will ship with both with the headphones shipped inside the carrying case. Grado SR325X Open Back Headphones - Mint Condition. These are practically brand new headphones that I bought from Richer sounds along with an ifi Zen Dac V2 (Dac/Amp) to use as my desktop listening set-up unfortunately I have only used these for about 10 hours as I constantly find myself reaching for my wireless AirPods. Of Course the sound of these completely ‘blow away’ the AirPods and they are perfectly matched with the ifi Zen Dac (listed separately). Grado make fantastic headphones and these feature their new 44mm ‘X’ drivers that sound fantastic. I was seriously impressed with the sound and I have owned many much more expensive headphones that do not sound this good. The cable is a shielded 8 core copper annealed cable covered with a very strong material and the ‘Y’ splitter is heavy duty and designed to last a lifetime. The Headphones themselves are metal with a leather adjustable headband. You won’t be disappointed and as I say they are completely mint and immaculate. They do make a fantastic pairing with the Zen Dac that I have also listed. The headphones are rated at 32 ohms. All my items are posted via Royal Mail Special Delivery and are insured for your peace of mind. Outer cable cover to right hand earphone about 2inches from where it joins earphone has been nipped/kinked at some point (shown in photos) but inner wiring is unaffected and headphones still work perfectly. Silver paint to embossed lettering on each headphone is largely worn away, as shown in photos. Phono jack is the larger 6.35mm size. Other listings for this model seem to have 3.5mm jack, so unsure why this pair has larger jack size (they were bought second hand so I dont know their full history).
