One possible buyer noticed that the plastic cover on the unit was crooked because it was not glued properly from the factory. I removed the plastic cover, cleaned underneath and re-glued it. This plastic covers only purpose is cosmetics and to hold the needle shield. the repaired cover has NOTHING to do with the function of the unit or the needle. I have attached pictures showing the removed cover both next to the cartridge. In that picture the needle was removed for safety. SO, after the repair was completed I placed the cartridge on my Dual 1257 turntable and tested it on several of my favorite albums. Each sounded clear, NO HUM, and the channels were separated and Excellent sound. One album was the Out Of Africa sound track with lots of instruments and it sounded excellent.
