This is a Grado GF3 phono cartridge with original stylus. I am a turntable professional with over 20 years running a vintage audio/ record store. I mounted this today and play-tested it: it sounds great, with clean sound through both channels.I have cleaned the stylus with a liquid stylus cleaner and stylus brush, and visually inspected it under magnification. Grado generators were designed around nude diamonds which Grado now only reserves for their cartridges at the top of the range starting at over $600. Grado no longer makes nude diamond replaceable styli for the Prestige series and the $600 models do not have user-replaceable styli. What is there to do if you want to hear a Grado as it was originally designed but don’t want to drop serious coin? You can try to find NOS Grados like the old M or G series or the even more difficult to find Signature series. Or you can have your current Grado retipped to a nude diamond. Grado F3+ Cartridge w/ Original Grado F3+/S CD-4 Stylus This listing is for one used Grado F3+ cartridge. The cartridge was “checked” with an Ohmmeter & the results are posted in two of the photos. The readings are very close & have a difference of less than 0.3%. The included stylus is a used, genuine Grado F3+/S. It is in excellent condition, showing very little if any wear. The stylus has a .3 x .7 mil elliptical tip & the tracking force is 1 ~ 2 grams.
