This GRACE F-9 is a Moving Magnet Phono Cartridge with its original stylus. Serial # 86389. The cartridge was manufactured in Japan and is designed to provide excellent sound quality with low distortion and high accuracy. This high-quality cartridge is sure to produce an exceptional sound to the audiophile or the passionate music lover. This is a pre-owned product that has been used only about 10-12 times, before I had to pack it up for storage, when going away to college. Haven’t brought this out for the past 40 years. It worked great in 1983 … and I have no reason to think it wouldn’t be in great working condition, now. I am selling this in its “As Is” condition. I remember using my Grace & Dynavector Cartridges with my Original Master Recordings only and not with my store bought LPs. It’s in great condition, almost mint condition. We have for sale a used Grace F-9 moving magnet (MM) phono cartridge which needs a stylus. The coils test 620/651 ohms DC resistance which is a normal range. We have sold over 100 cartridge bodies with this level of testing and theyve always worked fine when paired with a good quality stylus. Note this is designed for use in a high quality turntable that uses a half inch mounting system. It will not work in a P-Mount turntable!!Please check availability of high quality replacement styli before purchasing. We advise staying away from the cheapy generics! Were not sure they have them but weve have had very good luck with needles from LP Gear. Sorry but local pick-up is NOT available at this time!
