Grace m9xx DAC/AMP. The digital section of the m9XX utilizes a top-of-the-line AKM chip. Part of the newest generation of converters from AKM, the AK4490 features 256x oversampling, 32-bit processing, and sample rate compatibility from 44.1 kHz all the way to DSD128. The m9XX even offers a variety of anti-aliasing filters to choose from, something that is rarely included in this price range or physical size. The digital USB controller is an eight-core XMOS processor that operates in asynchronous mode and is immune to USB buss jitter, which can adversely affect sound quality in the transfer. Up for sale is a Grace Design M920 High-Fidelity Monitoring System. Purchased from Amazon in 2016, this unit has been meticulously maintained and remains in excellent condition. It was primarily used to pair with my HD800 headphones, delivering an immersive and high-definition audio experience. The M920 shows minor signs of use consistent with its age but nothing that impacts its performance or functionality. It has been tested extensively and operates as expected. All buttons, knobs, and inputs/outputs are in perfect working order, and there are no known operational issues with this unit. The front panel LCD and LED indicators are bright and clear, with no signs of fading or dead pixels. The connectors at the back of the unit are clean, and free from any corrosion.
