Up for sale is a GATES CB-11 16 Transcription Broadcast Turntable. Gray Research & Development Co. 16 transcription tonearm 106sp with Fairchild 225a cartridge. The turntable functions as should in both 33 and 78 speed. Fairchild was hard to take a picture of, but the needle is present, unsure how many hours it has on it. Very clean unit with original paint. You are bidding on a group of 7 Sangamo filter capacitors that were removed from a Gates Statesman broadcast console. They are Type DCM, and four are rated at 2500 MFD at 50 VDC. The other three are rated at 1000 MFD at 75 VDC. They are in nice clean condition, covered in clear plastic cases, but I have not tested them. They are 1 3/8 inches in diameter, and 4 1/2 inches tall, not counting the terminals. They should be great for your audio projects. Shipping weight is 2/5 pounds. Small ouncer type canister transformer usually seen on early-to-mid 1960s microphone preamp circuits in Gates Radio consoles, but also found in their limiters and other audio processing. I think the M5215 was the most common printed board amp type incorporating these transformers. My understanding is Foster made most of these for Gates but other manufacturers also had contracts for the same parts during the era (United, Chicago, Triad, perhaps others).
