For sale is a Garrard 401 turntable, this is the flush strobe version, the tonearm is an Ortofon SMG-212, both 401 and tonearm are in very good working order, the spindle bearing has been cleaned and lubricated, the motor runs smoothly and quietly, the cartridge mounted is a Stanton 680 EL. The platter will be removed and the transit bolts will be tightened for shipping.

Garrard Model 301 With SME 3009 + Ortofon VMS 20E MK2 cartridge Record player 1 fully working and well looked after original Garrard 3011 SME arm1 Ortofon VMS 20E MK2 cartridge1 custom made oak veneered plinth (see pic - that was a sample shown to me before purchase) The time has come for me to part ways with this record player. Its more than a record player its a piece of art if you ask me! I have had this serviced (last April 2021). I have had custom plinth made for this which cost £650 at the same time! I have used this, although not much as for me its such I nice thing to look at! I have used this for approx. 3 hours in total since the last service. For sale is a Garrard 301 grease bearing turntable with Ortofon SMG 212 tonearm, this is the sought-after rimless version, the motor has been serviced by Mr. James Campbell, the bearing was cleaned and fed with fresh Garrard grease, the mounted Stanton 500 cartridge sounds fine.
