The Fountek NeoCD3.0 is a true ribbon tweeter featuring an 8 x 60mm diaphragm, a high power neodymium magnet and a 110mm circular alloy faceplate. The ribbon material is an ultra light (10mg) multilayer aluminum sandwich with a cross section of 0.015mm (approx 0.6 thou). This medium sized ribbon tweeter has a high sensitivity of 93 dB and a broad operating range of between 1.4 kHz to 40 Khz. The end tensioning clamps form a substantial heatsink for the low impedance ribbon and an impedance matching transformer is built into the back of the housing. Representing an excellent price / performance / size ratio, this tweeter has been used in various high end designs. Fountek recommends a minimum crossover frequency of 2.5kHz @ 18db/octave. Truly excellent condition. Basically new. As seen in pics the tweeters have their own custom enclosures. Beautifully made. Real wood veneer. Purchased and built for the extra Sparkle in a single driver folded horn speaker project that just never happened......just too busy with work and family. Tweeters were originally 278.00 each. I had the enclosures built for 150.00. I have quite a bit invested here. Id like to recover as much as possible but want to be realistic. I am asking 350.00 for the set with the enclosures. They come from a smoke free/pet free home. Will be packaged with great care.
