Forte Audio. Es handelt sich um die letzte Endwicklungsstufe des 40er Modells überhaupt. Dies ist erkennbar am zusätzlichen XLR-Eingang und einem XLR-Ausgang. Siehe Fotos. Zum Werterhalt des Vorverstärkers sind fast alle Kondensatoren erneuert und durch leistungsfähigere neuzeitliche Varianten (Nichicon Fine Gold) ersetzt worden. Hieraus resultiert eine feinere räumlichere Klangabbildung verbunden mit einer knochentrockenen Tiefbassabbildung. Auch der serienmäßige Nabelschnuranschluß ist geändert. Das Versorgungskabel ist jetzt an beiden Enden abnehmbar. Hierzu hat der Vorverstärker eine zusätzliche Anschlußbuchse für die +/- 19Volt-Gleichspannungsversorgung über die Nabelschnur spendiert bekommen. Man kann also auch hier ein anderes Anschlußkabel als das Serienmäßige verwenden. Auch eine Verwendung eines stärkeren und stabilisierten Netzteils ist hier angedacht.
