The Naim FlatCap is a dedicated dual 24V power supply for use with the 92, 72 and 82 pre-amplifiers and our SNAXO electronic crossover, powering one piece of equipment at a time.Our 90, 140 and 180 power amplifiers have built-in regulated supplies which can be used to power pre-amplifiers quite adequately, but use of Naim’s separate low noise units brings improved musical performance to the whole system. Their independent cases ensure correct earthing and hum free operation, with large toroidal transformers and smoothing capacitors allowing the audio circuits much greater control and transient ability.
