The speaker selector C controls the A speakers and vice versa. My tech could have fixed it for $100 but suggested leaving unmolested. I have no problem with it so I left it. The only reason Im selling it is because I found a McIntosh combo that Ive wanted. At this price point I truly believe you will be hard pressed to find a better sound in a receiver. Up for sale is a Vintage Fisher CA-800 Studio Standard Integrated Amplifier TESTED WORKING!!! This unit is in excellent working condition, being tested and fully functional with no issues that I ran into! All the lights are functional and working, all buttons are present and accounted for, and the output is functional as well. There is very light to minimal cosmetic wear on this piece also, it is really in great cosmetic shape. Measures in at 17 1/4 wide, 13 3/4 deep, and 5 1/4 tall. Fisher 143-92533800 Stereo Receiver in good working and cosmetic condition. This receiver has been in regular use and needs nothing. It is plug and play. It was mostly used for FM radio in our home, but the other inputs were tested and working. The tuner is really impressive in the number of stations it pulls in and the quality of the sound. This is a great sounding and great looking piece of equipment that has always gotten lots of compliments and been plenty powerful in powering a variety of speakers. All lights as well as both tuning meters are working. It has a few minor cosmetic blemishes. Most are barely noticeable. An original manual is included as well. These look Amazing - see photos and judge for yourself. Only a few small scratches. Great working units. Released in the early '80's, the CA-880 was a powerful Power Amp designed to be the heart of their component system that included their CA-660 Tuner! With top-quality, full metal chassis and front panels, these are no cheap plastic components made from the '90's on! They boasted stunning black metal faces with chrome buttons, large VU meters and a unique Mixing Level control that would allow blending or fading of the Source and Mic inputs. In addition to the Volume, Base, Treble and Balance controls, the front panel offers a multi-position Speaker Output selector, Stereo/Mono and a Loudness button that contours the sound perfectly for low level listening. The Tuner has a digital display, five station presets, Auto/Manual tuning, LED Signal Meter and PLL Lock indicator! The manual gives this a Continuous Power rating of 200 Watts, or 100 W/Ch into 8? through full spectrum and both channels fully driven, all with an impressive Total Harmonic Distortion of only 0.09% at full power, far below what the human ear can detect!
