This device turns on and buttons seem to respond and function as they should, HOWEVER We do not have a way to test this item out in its full capacity. We dont have a way to plug it up to stereos and put in cassettes to see if it works. All we can do plug it in and test out if it turns on which it does. It does make some noises when it comes on, but stops after a couple seconds. Sounds like its trying to read a cassette that isnt there (again, as we dont have any on hand to test out). This device is cosmetically in good shape, only minor wear and some minor scratches on top of the device. Please note - this is sold AS IS FOR PARTS/REPAIR since we cannot fully test it out!
