If this did not need a belt, this thing would be near mint. It displays well and is pretty clean. The lighting is beautiful and the display is clear. When I put a tape in to test it, I heard the motor turning, but the tape did not play. When I ejected the tape, the belt came half way out with it (as shown in pics)!!! Belts available here on ebay for about 10-15 bucks if you know how to fix. I have not taken it apart, so I am assuming it is just a belt, since this is a common issue for all cassette and 8 tracks with some age. It will be shipped well to you.
