Our vacuum tubes are inspected and tested on our newly rebuilt/calibrated Hickok 539B tester. The 539B is one of the best Hickok Testers. Each tube is cleaned and allowed to warm-up for 90 seconds prior to actual testing. Tubes are tested for quality, life, grid emissions and shorts. No tube is offered for sale that tests below the min number given. We also use our Triplett 3413B as a backup tester. Please note that all tube testers are not created equal, and your tester may show a higher or lower test result than our test equipment. All tubes are wrapped in bubble wrap, packed with peanuts and shipped in a sturdy cardboard box to protect it during transit. All antique and vintage radios are cleaned and tested when possible.
