Fisher CA-880 Stereo Integrated Amplifier & FM-660 AM/FM Synthesizer Tuner NICE. You get both the amp and tuner, with original instruction manuals. These look Amazing - see photos and judge for yourself. Only a few small scratches. Great working units. Released in the early '80's, the CA-880 was a powerful Power Amp designed to be the heart of their component system that included their CA-660 Tuner! With top-quality, full metal chassis and front panels, these are no cheap plastic components made from the '90's on! They boasted stunning black metal faces with chrome buttons, large VU meters and a unique Mixing Level control that would allow blending or fading of the Source and Mic inputs. In addition to the Volume, Base, Treble and Balance controls, the front panel offers a multi-position Speaker Output selector, Stereo/Mono and a Loudness button that contours the sound perfectly for low level listening. The Tuner has a digital display, five station presets, Auto/Manual tuning, LED Signal Meter and PLL Lock indicator! The manual gives this a Continuous Power rating of 200 Watts, or 100 W/Ch into 8? through full spectrum and both channels fully driven, all with an impressive Total Harmonic Distortion of only 0.09% at full power, far below what the human ear can detect! Remember, these are what audiophiles call Vintage Watts, from an era where, unlike today, it was a sin to manipulate or elaborate the power ratings! The front panel has both 1/4 Headphone & Mic jacks while the rear offers two speaker zones, Tuner & Aux inputs, a Tape Loop, and stereo Phono Input with a grounding post for your turntables!
