Amazing fisher cassette deck tested and works and in amazing used condition. May see a few small scratches or paint rubs but a very nice clean system. The display at the bottom where the fast forward and play pause etc.. is starting to rise just a little can be glued back down with no problem. See pics for your judgment. This high-end dual cassette deck is loaded with features. However its 16VAC operating sytem was designed for use with the Fisher RS-881 receiver/amplifier system, according to its label. (That unit also had an accessory 16VAC record turntable.) It takes 16VAC through the special plug shown in last photo..... power was supplied through a socket on the receiver. It would work with any appropriate power supply (16VAC), not just that in the original system...... but I dont have any to test it with. (I THINK 18-20VAC or so would also work, based on my limited experience with other electronics when supplied with moderate overvoltages..... but hey, I am a CHEMIST, and not an electronics expert at all.) So offering it strictly AS-IS, and CHEAP! It has RCA stereo sockets on back for audio input and output, for dubbing from other media to tapes, or playing from tapes. Also can dub from tape to tape..... if it is all working that is. Simple Guarantee: If not right, I will make it right. But only if you let ME know right away. See details below. Vintage Fisher CR-W780 Dual Cassette Player Component BOTH DECKS TESTED WORKS. Both decks play cassettes. Have not tested the recording function so item comes as is as far as that. Auto reverse can stick. I tend to play the tapes one direction and flip them manually.

As far as I know this works turned on opened the flap looked inside seen the parts moving. The bottom tray that opens up with all the functions I think the right side that holds it in is either loose or broken but the cable to the tray is still connected so I believe it works. Havent tried with a tv wouldnt even know how to.
