These look Amazing - see photos and judge for yourself. Only a few small scratches. Great working units. Released in the early '80's, the CA-880 was a powerful Power Amp designed to be the heart of their component system that included their CA-660 Tuner! With top-quality, full metal chassis and front panels, these are no cheap plastic components made from the '90's on! They boasted stunning black metal faces with chrome buttons, large VU meters and a unique Mixing Level control that would allow blending or fading of the Source and Mic inputs. In addition to the Volume, Base, Treble and Balance controls, the front panel offers a multi-position Speaker Output selector, Stereo/Mono and a Loudness button that contours the sound perfectly for low level listening. Whilst I endeavor to put tubes together from the same year and look the same, this is not always the case. I may have the same tube but from differing years matched up in test results, which means they may cosmetically or internally look a little different... I use a TV7/U military spec Tester which is calibrated . I have 4 of these machines and all display a slightly differing value if I test the same tube, as two testers are never the same.
